Job Opportunity at BRELA, ICT Officer II (Network Engineer)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To provide technical support related to the networks;
To maintain and repair all networks managed by the Agency including backups;
To participate in designing and installation of networks and related accessories and equipment;
To maintain and repair of Network active and passive equipment;
To troubleshoot all network related problems;
To undertake management of LAN, wireless systems, telephone systems (PBX)
To document and communicate network related problems, solutions and the implementation process;
To assign network resources and user accounts;
To provide inputs for preparation of periodic reports;
To provide inputs for development and review of policies and guidelines; and
To perform any other duty as may be assigned from time to time.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Holder of Bachelor Degree of one of the following fields: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information System and Network Engineering, Information and Communication Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information and Communication Systems Management or equivalent computer science related qualifications from recognized institutions.
