HAYA HAPA MAJINA WALIOCHAGULIWA KWENYE SENSA 2022: The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania, is preparing to do so, Population and Housing Census which will be held on 23 August 2022.
To achieve In this census, the Government is announcing temporary vacancies for CORRESPONDENTS AND CESSION MANAGERS for Tanzanians with the right motives and qualifications as specified in this announcement
1. CENSUS CLERK (KARANI WA SENSA)
a) Tasks to Do (Kazi za Kufanya)
An applicant for this position, if elected, will be required to attend a training course clerks where after training if he succeeds he will have to return to the area from which he or she came from or assigned any other place for the following duties: –
i) Identify the boundaries of the census area in comparison to the map of the census area and the description of the boundaries on the map;
ii) Collaborate with the supervisor and local leadership to identify if in the census area there are special groups required accounting for special order different from ordinary households;
iii) Interviewing the community questionnaire at the neighborhood / street / shehia level;
iv) Count all the people who slept within the boundaries of the census area
the night before the Census Day within the allotted time;
v) Post in the system the work done and completed daily Dwelling NBS / OCGS Headquarters;
vi) To use all Census materials and documents in accordance with the objectives intended; maintain them and submit them to the Supervisor after work completion
vii) Reporting to the Census Supervisor on implementation challenges census responsibilities;
viii) To calculate all buildings in the area within the allotted time;
ix) Register all residential addresses in the respective area within the stipulated time

x) Performing other Census-related tasks to be assigned by the Leader
b) Qualifications of the Applicant (Sifa za Mwombaji)
An applicant for this position must have the following qualifications: –
i) Be between the ages of 18 and 45 and in good health;
ii) Must have a Form Four or higher education;
iii) Be it a public servant or a private sector or any unemployed person living in the relevant area;
iv) Have experience in using smartphones;
v) Must not have been convicted of any criminal offense; and
vi) To have a degree in statistics, mathematics, planning, economics, or a certificate of The collection of official data or experience of performing statistical functions is

2. Census Administrator (Msimamizi wa Sensa)
2.1 CONTENT SUPERVISOR
a) Tasks to Do (Kazi za Kufanya)
An applicant for this position, if elected, will be required to attend a training course Census supervisors where after training if successful will be required attend Census clerk training then return to the area of origin or be allocated any other area for the implementation of the following functions: –
i) Ensuring that every Census clerk identifies the census area;
ii) Ensure that each clerk has the necessary equipment as listed in the “Census Clerk Guide”.
iii) Ensuring that clerks understand the work and their schedules are prepared well and they follow them;
iv) Ensuring that the community questionnaire at the Sub-District / Street / Shehia level has been fully interviewed by the relevant clerk within three days prior to counting people;
v) Collaborate with the local leadership to identify as in the area of census there are special groups that need to be counted for special order different from ordinary households;
vi) Allocate households to each clerk according to the prescribed order if the location one census will have more than one clerk and make sure all households in the area are numbered and counted only once;
vii) Ensure that all persons sleeping within the boundaries of the counting area people on the eve of Census Day are numbered;
viii) Ensuring that every building in the Suburb / Counting Area is reached and counted after the main Census exercise based on those areas the Census Clerk was distributed during the census exercise;
ix) Ensure that all residential addresses in the Suburb / Counting Area registered;
x) Ensuring that he communicates with the clerks regularly, and evaluate their performance and, where necessary, provide additional guidance;
xi) Consult with various officials and higher authorities if any challenges that require decisions at that level;
xii) Inspect and ensure the Census clerk has sent his work to headquarters of NBS / OCGS in accordance with the prescribed procedure;
xiii) Using various forms of material control and exercise conduct Census in general; and
xiv) To perform such other functions as the Census shall be assigned by the Leader wake.
b) Qualifications of the Applicant (Sifa Za Mwombaji)
An applicant for this position must have the following qualifications: –
i) Be 18 years of age or older and in good health;
ii) Must have a Form Four or higher education;
iii) Be it a public servant or a private sector or any unemployed person living in the relevant area;
iv) Have experience in using smart phones;
v) Must not have been convicted of any criminal offense; and
vi) To have a degree in statistics, mathematics, planning, economics or experience managing statistical functions is an additional feature.

2.2 IT SUPERVISOR (MSIMAMIZI WA TEHAMA)
a) Tasks to Do (Kazi za Kufanya)
An applicant for this position, if elected, will be required to attend a training course Census supervisors where after training if successful will be required attend Census clerk training then return to the area of origin or be allocated any other area for the implementation of the following functions: –
i) Ensuring that every clerk has a system with a system collection of 2022 Population and Housing Census information, Framework of Housing Address Information Collection is working effectively;
ii) Ensure that every clerk has a power bank, charger and other equipment of IT as listed in the “Clerk’s Guide to Census “and they work effectively;
iii) Ensuring that he communicates with the clerks on a regular basis on ICT issues, and to evaluate their performance of use the tricks and, if necessary, provide additional guidance;
iv) Resolve all ICT challenges that may arise during census exercise, Real Estate Census and Residential Address Census;
v) Provide professional assistance to ensure that the Census clerk sends completed work headquarters on time and ensure that the work received; and
vi) To perform other ICT-related tasks related to the Census to be assigned and its Leader.
b) Qualifications of the Applicant (Sifa za Mwombaji)
An applicant for this position must have the following qualifications: –
i) Be between 18 and 45 years of age and in good health;
ii) Must have a Form Four or higher education;
iii) Must have ICT education at least at diploma level (Diploma);
iv) Be it a public servant or a private sector or any unemployed person living in the relevant area;
v) Have experience in using smart phones;
vi) Must not have been convicted of any criminal offense; and
vii) To have experience of statistical functions using electronic technology it is an additional feature
