CONTRACT WORK ADVERTISEMENT AT KISARAWE DISTRICT
History
Kisarawe District Council is one among seven councils in Pwani Region.
It was established in 1st July 1907. It is situated about 25 kms on the outskirts of Dar es Salaam City towards the North East. It’s headquarter is about 15 minutes drive from Julius Nyerere International Airport.
The name Kisarawe comes from a Zaramo word ‘Tuharawe’ meaning let us leave which was pronounced badly ‘Kiharawe’ and later ‘Kisarawe’.
There were lots of lions in Kisarawe at that time and when people went to visit Chief Pazi who was the Chief of the Zaramo tribe, or when they had gone to Minaki caves for ritual or to fish at Zegea pond, fearing that they will be caught by lions, the used to say ‘tuharawe.’
The Council is situated between latitude 60 50’ and 80 35’ south of the Equator and between longitude 380 15’ and 390 30’ east of the Greenwich.
It borders Mkuranga district council in the east, Morogoro district in the west, Ilala Municipal council of Dar es Salaam region to the northeast, Kibaha district/town council to the north and Rufiji district council to the south.
The district council covers an area of 4,46sq Km.
GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR THE JOB APPLICATION.
All applicants must be Tanzanian citizens between the ages of 18 and no more than 45 years.
Applicants must attach sufficient personal information, Curriculum Vitae (CV) with valid address, telephone number and email address (E.mail address) as well as the names of sponsors. (referees) three reliable.
Provisional results (Provisional/Testimonials/Statement of Result) will not be accepted.
All applicants must attach a birth certificate certified by a lawyer/attorney.
Applicants retired from public service are not allowed to apply unless they have the approval of the Chief Secretary.
All applications must be accompanied by professional certificates certified by a lawyer/attorney which are fourth form certificates, sixth form for those who have reached that level and various training certificates based on the qualifications of the relevant work.
Applicants who studied abroad should make sure their certificates are verified by the relevant authorities (NACTE/TCU and NECTA).
Submission of false information and qualifications, the parties will be taken legal action.
The application letter must be written in Kiswahili or English.
All applicants should attach a copy of the National Identity Card (NIDA) – For those who do not have ID, the NIDA number should be written on the personal information (CV).
The employee who will be hired will be given a contract of one (1) year.
